NTA and IIP partner for awards

National Training Awards and Investors in People have formed a partnership that will restrict entries to the Awards to companies that have been accredited to the IIP standard.

The partnership is a natural development as both organisations are involved in encouraging organisations of all types to develop their people in order to develop their business. They are both about showcasing companies that can demonstrate the organisational benefits gained by directly linking the training needs of their people to the business needs of their organisation, said Michael Millward managing director of Abeceder.

The exciting partnership with IIP means that the National Training Awards are now aligned with an established benchmark. This will enable entrants to build on their accredited IIP status by gaining public recognition for achieving success by developing their people year on year.

The National Training Awards are now open for entrants and as in previous years they are being supported by a series of information seminars at which potential entrants can discover what a successful entry looks like.

There is no cost to entry but entrants must have been accredited or re-accredited to the IIP standard after 31st October 2008.

Entries must be received by National Training Awards by 5pm on Friday 20th May 2011
